State of Fear by Michael Crichton Buy at: Amazon

A cracking read, with Crichton back to his usual standard.

The book feels like an excuse to hang a story around a set of graphs about global warming. To be more precise, the graphs are used as evidence that global warming isn't happening. The story is good, the dialog is smooth, but for me it was interesting the way fact feels separated from the story. The complete opposite of the blurring you see in The Da Vinci Code.
