Notes:

To install:

  1. First back up your Palm data.
  2. In the Palm Desktop, go into your datebook.
  3. From the "File" menu, select "Import" (see screenshot).
  4. Select the wc2002.dba file you downloaded and select OK
  5. You should be told that 64 records were imported.

Tested with Palm Desktop 3.1, Handspring Visor (Date Book+, v. 3.0H) and Handera 330 (Date Book 3.5a)

Corrections

The following corrections were made to the DBA file on 3 June, 2002:

GameCorrect
date/time
Previous
date/time
China v Costa Rica4th(was 3rd)
Germany v Rep. Ire5th(was 6th)
France v. Uruguay12.30(was 7.30 on 6th)
Denmark v. Senegal7.30(was 12.30 on 6th)
Brazil v. China8th(was 9th)

If you've already downloaded and installed the DBA file, don't do it again: you'll end up with duplicate dates in your diary.

Outlook users

Peter Ayton wrote to say "Finally managed to get it into Outlook via importing your .dba file to the Yahoo Calendar website and then exporting back from there a .csv file into Outlook." Hope that helps.
